This is a rare, professional UHF receiver that works with analog monitors used with film camera wireless video taps. Ideal for any Modulus 3000 owner.
I have 3 of these I'm selling so the pic might vary slightly, cosmetically, from the one you receive.
This receives the UHF analog video from your camera's video-tap transmitter and provides a clear, frequency locked signal for your monitor. This way you can use much better monitors than the little Casio TV's people use. The best modern monitor I found to use with SD video and a perfect match to this unit is the Marshall 6.5" lcd which has an SD SDI/BNC connector.
These were converted to 3-pin fischer connectors (No cable included) but it's easy to set up. You have the standard positive and negative pins, and that's it! The third pin in the fischer plug is inactive. Then all you need is a SDI/BNC cable, and pretty much any of them will work, to feed the received video into your monitor. Done!
MUCH more expensive when new from Transvideo. Great shape. Came from a major Hollywood camera house.
