This Pro Kit for the Sony FX3 Camera provides protective armor for the camera body and includes relevant accessories to improve the functionality of the Sony FX3 in a video production environment.
The Full Cage features several 1/4”-20 threads with various locating pins, two cold shoe receivers, a NATO Rail for Wooden and Advanced Side Handles, as well as a Rod Attachment Port for our Single Rod Holders.
The left side arm module can be removed to turn this full cage into a half cage.
This offers greater flexibility for stripping the camera down in situations where weight is a concern such as when mounting the system on a gimbal.
The Bottom Plate of the cage also provides several mounting points for attaching your camera to various quick release plates and is compatible with the ARCA Receiver of the RS2 Mounting Plate.
The included Quick Release Plate can be attached to the bottom of the cage to connect the system to our 15m LWS Baseplate Type IV.
The 15mm LWS Baseplate adds 15mm rod support to the system and allows you to mount rod based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus systems.
The bottom of the baseplate natively connects to our Tilta Standard Dovetails and also supports various quick release plates via 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.
The included Rotatable Top Handle mounts to the cold shoe receiver on the Top Mounting Plate and can be adjusted to be used as a side handle when shooting vertically.
The Top Mounting Plate doubles as a NATO Rail for Side Handles to be mounted on top of the camera for vertical shooting needs.
The Top Mounting Plate can also be removed independently of the other cage components, which allows you to easily mount the FX3’s original XLR Top Handle if needed.
The included Advanced Power Handle connects to the cage via a NATO Rail connection on the left side.
This handle allows you to power accessories and control run stop on the FX3 via an included cable.
The rotation of the handle and additional hand strap allows for comfortable and flexible operation of the Sony FX3.
The included HDMI Cable Clamp and male to female HDMI Adapter allows you to secure your HDMI cable to your camera cage.

Tilta Rotatable Quick-Release Top Handle (Black)
The Rotatable Quick-Release Top Handle from Tilta enables you to quickly select the handle orientation you prefer. This black handle rotates 90° with the push of a button and attaches securely to your camera or cage's cold shoe mount using a locking thumbscrew.
Constructed from aluminum and stainless steel, this quick release handle features two cold shoe mounts with spring-loaded safety latches. It also incorporates several anti-twist 1/4"-20 threads for mounting accessories.

Tilta 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV (Black)
The black 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV is compatible with Tilta full cages for RED KOMODO, Sony FX3, and Panasonic BGH1 cameras. Use this baseplate to add 15mm LWS rod support for accessories like a follow focus, matte box, or lens motor. The 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV's dovetail bottom slides onto a separately available Tilta-standard baseplate or ARRI-style baseplate when used with the separately available Tilta to ARRI adapter. The bottom of the baseplate also incorporates several 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for mounting a quick release plate.

Tilta Threaded 15mm Rod (Black, 8", Single)
Tilta's 8" Threaded 15mm Rod is a 8" rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.
The rod is made from machined aluminum for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodized black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.
