MR. PEANUT NUT DISH
- 1950s Planters Nut & Chocolate Co. 5" diameter x 4". Red molded plastic.
We offer a well designed peanut bowl divided in three sectional compartments. A 3" tall Mr. Peanut figural is in center area.
This is one of the more uncommon Planters plastic premiums, being that the Mr. Peanut base area of statue is thin plastic and easily broken. That is not the case here. There are no plastic breaks.
This premium was also commonly used as an ashtray, even though it states "NOT AN ASH TRAY" under base. This example is clean with no cigarette marring.
A scarce Planters mail premium with excellent eye appeal.
Condition is considered GOOD with minimal surface/scuff/edge wear. No chips or cracks.
Overall, a very nice displayable example by most standards (see photos).
This PLANTERS MR. PEANUT display would make an impressive addition to any VINTAGE ADVERTISING collection. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - (8).
