The Mini 1/4" Quick Release Connector designed originally for connectivity of LCD monitor and friction articulating arm. It takes time to screw LCD monitor onto the friction articulating arm, most importantly, you could hurt the thread of monitor when you screw it on to the arm. The Mini quick release connector make it easy now.
It features 1/4"-20 screw,  allow you attach magic arm, HDMI splitter, LED light, flash, LCD monitor to your rig in a different way now.
Just press the red part down to release the shaft from the base, when you want to detach them.
How to use it: 1. screw the top part into your monitor, you can even tighten it by coin. 2. mount the base into articulating arm 3. press the red part down, and plug the shaft into base
